The Android Messages application now offers end-to-end encryption.

Along with a series of new features in several areas of Android, Google, finally, is becoming end-to-end encryption (E2EEE) for all in the Message application. Beta testers have been able to use E2EE messaging since November.

The E2EE in the messages is only available in individual conversations at the moment, no, do not group chats. Both participants must have the functions of Chat RCS enabled to use it. You will know if a message that is about to send, will be encrypted if you see a lock icon on the Send button. Then it will be more difficult for the eyes to incite Snoop in your messages.

The E2EE function is being implemented this week as a pass from an Android update, along with messages of the tastes of the “or fixed) and the availability of an earthquake alert system in more countries. The update also includes new functions of Emoji, assistant, Android auto and voice access.
