RealMe GT is the smartphone Snapdragon 888 cheaper (for now)

Oneplus may have abandoned for a long time the slogan “Assassin Star”, but his sister Realme brand: the team that once brought us the “garlic” and “onion” phones, is now reconnecting these two words for their last global launch. RealMe GT, released for the first time in China in March, is finally entering other markets with a starting price of 369 euros (around $ 450), which makes it the cheapest Snapdragon 888 smartphone in the world. For now, anyway.

Before immersing us in the specifications (which, to be honest, it is actually the most boring part in today’s badge market), let’s look at the telephone design. The RealMe GT comes in three flavors: “Yellow Racing”, “Frontal Silver” and “Blue Blue”.

Personally, I am everything for the “Yellow Racing”, which has a vegan leather, jacked with a bright racing track stripe. Although it is most likely to keep the protective box grouped, I like the feeling of ultra-thin grain. This version comes at 9.1mm thick and 186.5g heavy, which is not bad considering that these are only 0.7 mm additional and 0.5g on the other two bright designs, respectively.

The RealMe GT ticla All boxes for a flagship of 2021: Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Processor, 120Hz Super AMOLED Panel (6.43 inch, FHD +), Fingerprint Reader on Screen, Dolby Atmos Stereo Speakers, Dual Nano SIM Slots, NFC, A 4,500mAh battery and the fast load of 35 minutes (a SuperDART 65W charger is included). If I owe Nitpick, it would have been good to release in a third microphone for an even better noise cancellation.

RealMe GT is sending with Android 11 based on UI 2.0 and, for those who care, you can try Android 12 Beta Builts on this device before the next version of UI Realme at the end of this year.

RealMe is also throwing this as a mobile game device, thanks to its 360Hz touch sampling rate, linear motor touch motor, 3.5 mm headphone jack and stainless steel steam cooling system, this apparently can reduce temperature From the nucleus up to 15 degrees Celsius. You can activate a “GT mode”, which pushes the performance of the processor and the frequency of updating the screen to the maximum, as long as you monitor the battery level.

Photograph is not the main point of sale of RealMe GT, but it is still receiving a 64-megapixel main camera F / 1.8, an ultra wide 8 megapixel camera (119 degrees), a 2 megapixel macro camera and a 16- megapixel Punch-Hole Selfie camera. You will find the usual features such as “Super Night Mode”, “Timelapse”, “Panoramic View”, “AI Beauty” and up to 4K / 60FPS video capture in the main camera.

The RealMe GT will soon be at stake in the selected European markets, with the storage version of 8GB RAM + 128GB that goes by 369 euros (around $ 450) in a sale of early birds on Aliexpress between June 21 and 25. The RAM storage option + 256 GB of upper end will be available by 499 euros (around $ 605) as part of Amazon’s main day between June 21 and 22. Subsequently, these prices will be beaten up to 449 euros (around $ 540) and 599 euros (around $ 730), respectively, on all retail channels.

Realme is also working to take his “murderer sign” to other important markets, namely the United Kingdom and India, which will undoubtedly threaten the grades of Xiaomi, Samsung and Huawei. That said, the company currently has no plans to carry their phones to the United States.
