Facebook messenger updates make money transfers easier

Facebook is mainly a social networking platform but should not surprise anyone at this time has grown far past the narrow definition. The giant technology has hands in almost all things that can be attributed to being social, including virtual reality or even money. Beyond the culprit of product advertisements and buy items on Facebook, it has changed its messenger platform to the P2P money transfer service itself, which might be easier in Facebook’s latest updates.

Of course, there is no shortage of platforms that allow you to send or receive money through the internet, with people like Paypal and Venmo into some of the most popular ones. However, not everyone has an account on the platforms and they are more likely to have a Facebook account and, therefore, Messenger’s account. That’s pretty much Facebook spiel for a new Messenger payment system, which is almost immediately available for anyone who has a Facebook account in the US.

This is not as fast as possible, because it requires that people send and receive money have been friends on the network. Unlike PayPal, which only requires knowing the recipient’s email address, this system is too complicated for one-time or ad-hoc payment. That is the obstacle that is now deleted Facebook in its newest update to the system.

Paying Facebook Users on Messenger can now go to application settings to take a private payment link or QR code to distribute to those who want to send them money. The latter is very useful for users who haven’t even ordered before, let alone added to your friends list. This feature, however, is still available only in the US and, of course, requires messenger applications to be installed.

Updates also carry new themes to Messenger and Instagram, at least if you connect both. Messenger now also allows to reply directly when viewing images so you don’t have to jump back to the conversation, tap a long picture, and then give your short and spontaneous reaction.
