Brooks Aurora-BL Review

Two-minute review

The Aurora-bl Brooks is a limited edition neutral racing shoe with all eyes. It is certainly striking, with a unique design, common nitrogen foam masses and translucent rod that allows the world to see and judge the condition of your socks.

It is comfortable to wear too, with a generous totebox and good secure grip to the heel. Simply make sure you do not attach the laces too tight, otherwise you may put pressure in the middle of your foot where the sole is divided.

What is most surprising about Aurora-bl, but it’s not its spatial aspect (complete with nitrogen injection ports), but how ordinary it feels to run. Thick padding offers a rebound measure, but the lack of rigid the midsole means that it feels more stable and less spring than many similar shoes SQUISHY.

As a showcase of what is possible, it is certainly a success and we look forward to seeing which Brooks elements chooses to bring to its traditional lines in the future.

Price and availability

The Aurora-bl Brooks is a limited edition, with only 25,000 pairs released. It was released in June 2021, at a price of $ 200 / £ 180 (about 260 CAD) directly from Brooks and third-party retailers.

Design

The Aurora-bl Brooks will certainly not be able to taste everyone. It was developed by the Blue Line laboratory of the company – essentially an experimental R & D department, which operates on new materials and manufacturing techniques so that they can arrive on your feet earlier.

Before the launch of the shoe, Techradar spoke to Nikhail Jain, senior director of Brooks Blue Line, who explained that his gaze was inspired by spatial costumes and would certainly be a “love that hates him or hatred”.
