Apple has announced several new privacy features that are important at its annual development conference, WWDC 2021. So far the most significant – and controversial – is a ‘personal relay’, a technology that allows users to browse the web without revealing their original IP addresses, making it more difficult Share sites to track their web search activities.

How do Apple’s personal relay work?
Personal relay is easy to use, with no troubled application that you will see with an ordinary VPN. Proxy Ingress now makes an encrypted connection to the EGRESS proxy, forwarding your request. This second server is run by an independent content provider, not Apple and is likely to be a CDN provider partner, ensuring it has no way to find out who makes a certain request.
